Chinchilla Purchasing & Guarantees

Show quality, specialty, and Royal Persian Angora chinchillas are for sale on the Chinchillas.com Auction or through the Sales Gallery. Special requests can be made by contacting us directly. New chinchillas are added to the site regularly. To purchase a chinchilla on the Auction, buyers should register for the Auction and bid on the chinchilla(s) they are interested in. After the close of the auction, bidders will receive an automated e-mail asking them to contact Chinchillas.com to make payment arrangements. To purchase a chinchilla directly or from the Sales Gallery, call (785) 336-6833, or e-mail sales@chinchillas.com.

Chinchillas.com offers a full replacement guarantee for up to 90 days, as long as the animals are in our possession. We guarantee that your chinchillas will not malocclude, fur chew, or die during this period. If any of the Buyer’s chinchillas needs to be replaced, Chinchillas.com will ask the Buyer to select a replacement chinchilla(s) from the web site or from our current inventory.

Buyers have both the right and responsibility to examine, or have a representative or licensed veterinarian examine, any chinchilla the buyer is interested in purchasing, and be satisfied with the results prior to making a purchase. Chinchillas.com will provide the contact information, upon request, of the herd veterinarian, or the buyer may hire a licensed veterinarian of his or her choice. The cost of farm calls, office visits, exams, labs, cultures, or other testing that the buyer might like to have done is the buyer's responsibility.

International clients must pay for their chinchillas within 5 days of the purchase date. Export/shipping fees and board must be paid in full two weeks prior to the confirmed export date. Domestic clients must pay for their chinchillas within 3 days of the purchase date.
